"Fiction 1" provides a diverse and stimulating introduction to books. The variety of styles, voices and stories are designed to captivate children as they develop their reading skills. "Fiction 1" is divided into four bands, providing a structured means of progression in acquiring reading skills. "Read-On Books" are for a child's growing steps to independent reading. They consist of clusters of books all written by the same author. Each cluster relates to a "Read-Aloud" book also by the same author.
